Where the unseen becomes visible
There are moments in life when we sense something shifting within us. A feeling that there is more to discover. More to express. More waiting to emerge.
My work explores this threshold - the space between who we have been and who we are becoming.
Inspired by energy, nature, the human experience and the liminal spaces between the physical and non physical, each painting is an exploration of transformation, connection and the life force that flows through us all.
Every mark and colour emerges spontaneously, surrendering to the present moment, to make the unseen seen. The resulting works feel alive - less concerned with depiction than with what quietly shifts when you’re standing in front of them.
Recent projects include her Artist Residency at Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel, Edinburgh, and Elementum, commissioned for The Borders Distillery and exhibited and sold through Sotheby's Distillers One of One raising £20,000 for charity.
Her paintings are held in private collections across the UK, USA, Canada, Dubai and Japan.

About Vicky Paul
Vicky Paul is a contemporary artist whose practice explores identity, presence, energy and emotional narrative through layered abstract painting.
Working from her Edinburgh studio, Vicky creates bespoke energy portrait commissions and abstract work for private clients, collectors and curated interior spaces.
Before becoming a full-time artist, Vicky built a career as an award-winning radio presenter and producer, interviewing celebrities including Kylie, Madonna and George Michael. She later founded an arts PR consultancy working across the classical music and the wider cultural sector.
Her background in storytelling, communication and audience perception continues to inform her artistic practice today.
